Why Video? Because It’s 2025—and It’s Everything
Did you know that 82% of content consumed in 2025 is video?
Some reports even say it's 90% of internet traffic.
This isn’t a trend.
π― It’s a business decision.
Video builds trust fast. It's the most repurposeable content out there, and it works 24/7. One video can become:
-
A blog
-
A podcast
-
Multiple Reels or Shorts
-
Email content
-
Evergreen lead generation
You don’t need to be fancy. You need to be consistent.
π¬ The First 5 Videos Every Realtor Should Make
Let’s get into it. These are the 5 videos I recommend every new (or rebranding) real estate agent film first.
1. Your Origin Story: Who You Help and Why
This isn’t your resume. It’s your connection point.
π Script idea:
“Hi, I’m [Name]. I help [target clients] in [your area] make smart, confident real estate moves. I got into this business because…”
β‘οΈ Add something personal. Make it human. Show your why.
2. Local Market Update
Be the local expert. Talk about:
-
What interest rates are doing
-
How inventory is moving
-
Whether now is a good time to buy/sell
π― Use stats. Keep it honest. Keep it short (2–3 minutes is great).
3. Myths or Mistakes to Avoid
Become the guide. Help your viewer avoid landmines.
Examples:
-
“The #1 mistake first-time buyers make”
-
“Why sellers leave money on the table (and how to stop it)”
β
Be the one who sees around corners.
π Tip: Keep a running list of FAQs from your clients—those become your next 10 videos.
4. Behind-the-Scenes (BTS)
Show how you:
-
Prep a home for sale
-
Guide a nervous buyer
-
Negotiate a deal
-
Handle your day
You don’t need to give away secrets—but show that you have a process. Confidence builds trust.
5. Client Story or Testimonial
Nothing converts like a good story. This is your social proof.
π Story formula:
-
The problem
-
What you helped them do
-
The result (with emotional tone)
π “I worked with a couple moving from out of state. Here’s how we got them under contract in 21 days…”
Make your client the hero, and you the guide.
π₯ What Gear Do You Actually Need?
You already have 90% of it:
β
Your phone – perfect quality
β
Audio – lapel mic or wireless earbuds
β
Lighting – natural light or $20 ring light
β
Tripod – $15-$20 on Amazon
π― Sound is more important than video quality. If they can’t hear you, they won’t trust you.

-
Send it to your email list
-
